REPLYING TO SATAN'S LIES

Here is the truth. Saturday is the seventh day that Jesus blessed in Eden as He finished His re - creation week! He made it for man ... pronounced it Holy and sanctified it, or set it apart for Holy worship and assembly. Jesus poured Himself into it. For 4,300 plus years Sabbath was Saturday. However, in the fourth century after Jesus, there was a breach in God's law. ... HERE Read More.

Pentecost — Praise Produces Power!
Back-to-back Sabbaths Combine Praise and Power
Sermon by Gerald Budzinski (Notes by Robert Scott)

We’ve learned much new information about Pentecost. This is the only time in the year that two Sabbaths fall back to back on a regular basis. God has a purpose in this. God commanded a year of rest for the land on the 49th year of the Jubilee cycle. They were to eat from what grew naturally from the land that year and in God’s ideal plan spend the year in thankfulness and praise for all that God had done for His people. This thanksgiving opened the door for the release of blessing on the 50th year, the year of Jubilee. God granted freedom from the bondage into which Satan had put people through debt. Slaves were set free and people returned to their properties.

  • The same cycle is repeated on Pentecost weekend. On the 49th day of the 50-day count from the “morrow after the Sabbath,” the weekly Sabbath during the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Leviticus 23), we keep a weekly Sabbath that becomes more special than a normal weekly Sabbath. We spend this weekly Sabbath, which becomes part of the Pentecost observance, in the sacrifice of thanksgiving and praise for all God has done for us and for all the believers throughout time. Since God inhabits the praise of His people (Ps. 22:3), He is drawn nearer by our praise. Praise releases the Governor of the earth, the Holy Spirit, to take control. This praise opens the door to the release, freedom, anointing, and restoration on the day of Pentecost.

The Jewish rabbis have noted that many important events occurred on the day of Pentecost, and the Holy Spirit teaches us much about the meaning of the day and of the events that took place on this day. Pentecost was the day…

    1. Adam and Eve lost the glory of God and had to leave Eden. Pentecost is the time of restoration of God’s glory to His people.
    2. Noah departed the ark and received the rainbow covenant.
    3. Jacob wrestled with God and received the name change to Israel and the blessing of being a believer in God and the power of God, as we are today.
    4. Israel blessed and prophesied over the future of his sons in the last days (Genesis 48 and 49). He also adopted Joseph’ sons as his. This also prophesied the time when Gentiles would be adopted into the blessing of Abraham and Israel, a truth Jews do not want to share for fear many Jews would convert to Christianity because of this clear connection.
    5. Day judges were called out and raised up to set Israel free from captivity.
    6. God gave the vision to David to build the temple.
    7. David charged Solomon to build the temple (I Chr. 28:9). David’s words in this verse have great import and prophetic significance. He did not speak of the God of Abraham but charged Solomon to “know the God of your father.” In other words, “You need to be intimate with the Jesus I know, and you need to meditate and get full understanding of all the hidden meanings in all I wrote.” This was a command, a prophecy, and an anointing ... [Continued ...]
