Today we will depart from our usual format to answer some questions about healing from a radio listener...

Q: If the devil can make you sick, doesn't that mean that you are married to the devil and not God?

A: Accepting a gift from Satan or his demons such as sickness does not necessarily constitute a marring to Him or his demons.

Q: How does ignorance on a subject make you subject to Satan’s will and not God's purpose?  Are you not responsible for what you know? Why would God allow sicknesses just because we don't know something?  Isn't that just cruel and unusual punishment?

A: James 4:17 and John 9:41 show us that we are indeed only responsible for what we know. God is referring here to judgment. We are not judged eternally and spiritually for what we don’t know. God has ordained, however, laws that are automatic, the law of sowing and reaping and the law of cause and effect.

God says His people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hos. 4:6). An example would be the Sabbath day, the seventh day of the week. Almost all Christians today are missing out on this blessing because pastors have accepted without question the tradition of Sunday, which is nowhere to be found in the Bible. God gave free will to the church and the pastors, and He is allowing this lie to go on until His time is right here in the last days to reveal this truth in a more universal way so He can prepare a bride for Jesus at His return.

God inspired that title for the same reason He gave us the title of this radio series: that’s the question God’s people are asking. Why do we ask the first question, a negative one? The reason is that most Christians don’t truly believe that God is who and what He says He is in 1 John 4:8. He is Love. That’s His name – Agape in Greek.

He does everything out of love. Why does He heal? He heals because He loves, because He is Love. But most Christians feel betrayed by God. They have not seen the healing Jesus paid for 2000 years ago manifested in their bodies. They see the Father God as a cruel God who smites people in what they see as the Old Testament.
