FreedomTruthSeekers:
"Grace and Righteousness"

Grace and righteousness are two misunderstood subjects. Righteousness is a gift from Jesus who paid the price for our sins. Grace is His ability to keep the law, which is the standard of righteousness. Grace, or Jesus in us, allows us to fulfill all righteousness, obeying God’s laws of love. Accept Jesus' grace to walk in righteousness, by His power, not yours. Series runs from May 24th to June 7th on FreedomTruthSeekers.com.

What's the Difference between Chrislam and Christmas?

May 1

You think they have nothing to do with each other. Think again. A new creature has been born, a MBB, or Muslim Background Believer. They accept Jesus and then continue to practice their Muslim religion at the mosque. This is reminiscent of witchcraft practitioners in South America who embrace both witchcraft and Catholicism and of Christians in Africa who continue to practice witchcraft. God says not to eat at the table of demons and God’s table at the same time, but the church has done it for centuries. Yes, when Constantine introduced pagan holidays into the church such as Christmas, the day of the winter solstice celebrating the sun god Mithra, the church did the exact same thing as those who practice Muslim and Christianity simultaneously, and those who cling to witchcraft while claiming to follow Jesus. It is impossible to follow Jesus and Satan at the same time. Read more…

When will we understand that God wants “undistracted devotion to [Jesus]” (1 Cor. 7:35)? While the context is a time of persecution in which Paul doesn’t recommend marriage, the principle is clear and is sustained by John 4:24, which says we are to worship God in spirit and in truth.

How can you worship God in truth when you are worshipping false gods at the same time? God clearly told His people in Deuteronomy 12:30 when they entered the Promised Land and dispossessed the pagan nations there, not to “inquire after their gods, saying, ‘How do these nations serve their gods, that I also may do likewise?’”.

He continued, “Whatever I command you, you shall be careful to do; you shall not add to nor take away from it” (Deut. 12:32).

Is it still not clear? Then read this: “Do not learn the way of the nations…For the customs of the peoples are delusion; Because it is wood cut from the forest, The work of the hands of a craftsman with a cutting tool. They decorate it with silver and with gold; They fasten it with nails and with hammers So that it will not totter [You wouldn’t want your Christmas tree to fall on our dining room table, would you?]” (Jer. 10:2-4).

You can reason around this all you want and say God was talking about real idols. But the truth is, Christmas was celebrated with a “Christmas” tree thousands of years before Jesus was born!

Why can’t we see that Chrislam and Christmas are similar? It’s because Satan makes compromise seem so righteous. It is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil all over again. And Jesus had to die on a tree to save us from that knowledge. To the practitioners of Chrislam and Christmas, Jesus would say, “Your sins are forgiven. Go and sin no more!”

Could it be that their is no differences just as our pastor says all ways lead to the Father God.

Clara,
Jesus is the Way, Truth, and Life, and He is the only Door to the Father. If you try to enter with the falseness He has forbidden, you will have to wait to enter later at a resurrection after Jesus' reign on earth.

Could it be that chrislam has truth in it while Christmas has rituals?

Re: What's the Difference between Chrislam and Christmas?

Ellie,
A mixture of truth and error pollutes both since they represent the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Mmmmmm. Good topic. Makes the flesh irritated. I like it when my flesh gets irritated. Sanctification.
So far there has been no bashing just loving discussion, I like it. I bet the Father does too. Working out your salvation with fear and trembling. Let's keep going.

Re: Jesus Defeats the Witches' Brew—But Show Me How!(#21)
I keep breaking off curses and spells yet I am still getting attacked. It feels like an axe in the backing of my neck. Am I doing something wrong?
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
Robert, you are right. The person we were thinking about is Paul who advised believers to sing. Colossians 3:16 The word of Christ shall dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to our Father Love.
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
Robert, yes the grass called timothy is enjoyed by horses and cattle. However, Timothy who travelled to Greece with Paul and Silas would not appreciate a lick from Paul. Paul just liked him.
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
In the Pentecost sermon I learned that I'm not as humble as I should be, since humility is know when to open my mouth and when to close it. No comments, now, Pastor Hugh-mility!
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
Here's an answer about humility from Pastor Gerald's Pentecost sermon, adding new insight:

Humility is a must, as Matthew 5:5 explains. This verse refers to being teachable, able to function with wisdom and understanding. It doesn’t mean to be demanding to be heard for your own thoughts or emotions. It means to always be willing to hear the depths of emotions, thoughts, and fears, and support them into Jesus.
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
Marilyn,
The answer is funny,I'm sure. So my answer is probably not correct. Jesus commanded us in the Psalms to sing songs of joy. And he sang a hymn with the disciples after Passover.
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
Marilyn,
Great answers! Could you as a farm girl confirm the answer to a small town man? Isn't Timothy a horse's food? Or did Paul lick Timothy?
Re: What Do You Do for Fun (that Jesus would approve of)?
Holy,
Marilyn has given you a holy answer, inspired by God. Jesus said in John 10:10 that He came to give us life, and that life more abundantly. A sad saint without the joy of Jesus is a sad excuse for a saint. A person who doesn't have that joy doesn't know he or she is loved by our Father. True believers work and play. Sounds like your pastor doesn't know the Father loves him and wants him to enjoy life. That's sad. We pray God will give him a revelation of how much he is loved so he can walk in the joy of Jesus, without which he has no strength (Neh. 8:10). We pray you will listen to the Word rather than what your pastor says, and that you can walk in the joy of Jesus. Be blessed with the knowledge that God loves you and with the joy of Jesus. Have fun!
Re: What Do You Do for Fun (that Jesus would approve of)?
Holy, it sounds like you have not had much fun in your life. I can identify with that from a background of hard work and work hard. Religiosity dictates that principle. Jesus and our Father Love are different, they rejoice over us. Zeph. 3:17 "Jesus your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness,(the word rejoice also means dancing) He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing". For more information you could go to freedomtruthseekers.com and click on You tube. Then under Robert Scott's other channels choose Freedom Church, then 'featured channels' choose Mercy Mission. Here there are two short videos on the "Importance of Fun" that should answer more of your questions. We would also advise you to turn over the bitterness that comes from not having fun. The New Moon is good for this. We bless you with the ability to laugh more and have fun. The joy of Jesus is our strength.
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
Who advised believers to sing? Can you find where Jesus was singing?
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
Here is the answer to why was Paul like a horse. He liked Timothy. And as far as we can find, the shortest man in the Bible was Bildad the Shuhite (shoe-height). He was one of Job's "comforters". And he was of little comfort. Job 2:11
Re: What Do You Do for Fun (that Jesus would approve of)?
Our pastor said that Jesus does not approve of have fun. People are to be seen working not playing in order to be the light of the world.
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
Glenn,
You are very perceptive. Of course, most of the comments are meant to be humorous. And truly humble people don't compare themselves with others.
Re: Why Do You or Don't You Observe Christmas and New Years?
JD Misto,
Check our site and you will find much on these feasts under "Celebrations." God bless you in keeping these feasts of God.
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
Hope someone can figure how Paul was like a horse. And maybe they can figure also who was the shortest man in the Bible.
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
Very good, Marilyn, you're exactly right! That's the only answer I know.
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
I think that insecurity is at the root of your humility test and all its trophy winners.
Re: My Dream Is Telling Me Something—But What? (#22)
In my dream I came into a room and there was a man from church there. This man I have known since I was 12. I smiled and was talking to other people in the room but didn't greet him with a hug until he said "arent' you going to give me a hug." So I went over to him. As we talked and laughed about things I noticed that his hair was darker and he got trimmer and trimmer. He was smiling and happy.

Levi J. Your bell is a bell of dismissal. It was supposed to awaken those away in astro projection, deep trances and soul transfers. This type of bell never rings unless its owner is in one of the afore mentioned states. This bell cannot be destroyed by normal means as they normally have upto 8 souls of warriors attached to it. The bell is harmless.
Re: Jesus Defeats the Witches' Brew—But Show Me How!(#21)
J.T. Somalian men never forgive a woman who offends them or challenges them. Even in their prayers they continue to issue curses against those who have offended them. But it appears that your heart is not free to forgive them either. You are wide open to accept their curses.
