FreedomTruthSeekers:
"Grace and Righteousness"

Grace and righteousness are two misunderstood subjects. Righteousness is a gift from Jesus who paid the price for our sins. Grace is His ability to keep the law, which is the standard of righteousness. Grace, or Jesus in us, allows us to fulfill all righteousness, obeying God’s laws of love. Accept Jesus' grace to walk in righteousness, by His power, not yours. Series runs from May 24th to June 7th on FreedomTruthSeekers.com.

Why Are Women in Ministry under Attack?

Why Are Women in Ministry under Attack?

Why are the Paula Whites of the church under siege? Why do the pious piranhas of male religiosity attack and reject women in ministry? The answer is at once shocking, fascinating and yes, encouraging. Why did a roomful of men turn their chairs so as not to face a message by Billy Graham's daughter? The macho stupidity that has characterized today's male-dominated religious system stinks to high heaven—and comes from the pit of hell. While the spirit of love and forgiveness must reign, it is time for the women of the church to rise up and walk in their anointing. "Rise Up, Women of God" is adapted from a chapter in Peace or Rejection —You Choose, and could also be entitled, "Why are the Paula Whites of the Church Under Attack? Read Rise Up, Women of God!

Re: Why Are Women in Ministry under Attack?

Women are more open to attack from men because they are strong warriors against the kingdom of darkness. Men like to protect the darkness.

Re: Why Are Women in Ministry under Attack?

Women come under attack because men are jealous and cannot stand anyone wanting to do better any man could do.

Re: Why Are Women in Ministry under Attack?

God never said to make a woman a priest or a pastor, therefore they should not be allowed to preach anywhere.

Re: Why Are Women in Ministry under Attack?

Pattie, Your comment is as bias and unloving as Ted F's. Men and women who are insecure use accusations and blame and even inuendos to cover up their lack of identity in Jesus. I strongly suggest that you learn who Jesus is and what he was teaching. Then find out who you can be when you accept your identity in Jesus.

Re: Why Are Women in Ministry under Attack?

My brothers friend Eddy says that most women are witches and therefore should not be allowed anywhere near a pulpit. Could this be the source of why women in ministry are attacked so much?

Re: Why Are Women in Ministry under Attack?

Tom,
This prejudice is only one source of the persecution of women in ministry.

Re: Why Are Women in Ministry under Attack?

Satan wants to destroy women because they were the ones prophecied by God to crush the head of Satan, women in general but also the "church as the woman, the bride of Jesus" as a whole. Women need the protection of men because of his strength and authority in Jesus and men also need the protection of the woman because of her ability to percieve Satan's attacks, which through my experiences have proven to be more acute than a man's. Men tend to tolerate Satan's shinanigans more than women do generally speaking. The reason so many women turn to witchcraft is because men haven't learned to love and guide their wives (and daughters) properly.

Re: Why Are Women in Ministry under Attack?

Ted F,
Women were the first ones Jesus sent out do declare the news that Jesus had risen, while the apostles were still grieving His death....

Re: What Do You Do for Fun (that Jesus would approve of)?
Holy, it sounds like you have not had much fun in your life. I can identify with that from a background of hard work and work hard. Religiosity dictates that principle. Jesus and our Father Love are different, they rejoice over us. Zeph. 3:17 "Jesus your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness,(the word rejoice also means dancing) He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing". For more information you could go to freedomtruthseekers.com and click on You tube. Then under Robert Scott's other channels choose Freedom Church, then 'featured channels' choose Mercy Mission. Here there are two short videos on the "Importance of Fun" that should answer more of your questions. We would also advise you to turn over the bitterness that comes from not having fun. The New Moon is good for this. We bless you with the ability to laugh more and have fun. The joy of Jesus is our strength.
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
Who advised believers to sing? Can you find where Jesus was singing?
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
Here is the answer to why was Paul like a horse. He liked Timothy. And as far as we can find, the shortest man in the Bible was Bildad the Shuhite (shoe-height). He was one of Job's "comforters". And he was of little comfort. Job 2:11
Re: What Do You Do for Fun (that Jesus would approve of)?
Our pastor said that Jesus does not approve of have fun. People are to be seen working not playing in order to be the light of the world.
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
Glenn,
You are very perceptive. Of course, most of the comments are meant to be humorous. And truly humble people don't compare themselves with others.
Re: Why Do You or Don't You Observe Christmas and New Years?
JD Misto,
Check our site and you will find much on these feasts under "Celebrations." God bless you in keeping these feasts of God.
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
Hope someone can figure how Paul was like a horse. And maybe they can figure also who was the shortest man in the Bible.
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
Very good, Marilyn, you're exactly right! That's the only answer I know.
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
I think that insecurity is at the root of your humility test and all its trophy winners.
Re: My Dream Is Telling Me Something—But What? (#22)
In my dream I came into a room and there was a man from church there. This man I have known since I was 12. I smiled and was talking to other people in the room but didn't greet him with a hug until he said "arent' you going to give me a hug." So I went over to him. As we talked and laughed about things I noticed that his hair was darker and he got trimmer and trimmer. He was smiling and happy.
Re: Jesus Defeats the Witches' Brew—But Show Me How!(#21)
Levi J. Your bell is a bell of dismissal. It was supposed to awaken those away in astro projection, deep trances and soul transfers. This type of bell never rings unless its owner is in one of the afore mentioned states. This bell cannot be destroyed by normal means as they normally have upto 8 souls of warriors attached to it. The bell is harmless.
Re: Jesus Defeats the Witches' Brew—But Show Me How!(#21)
J.T. Somalian men never forgive a woman who offends them or challenges them. Even in their prayers they continue to issue curses against those who have offended them. But it appears that your heart is not free to forgive them either. You are wide open to accept their curses.
Re: Why Do You or Don't You Observe Christmas and New Years?
Of course not! We keep the Holy Days as outlined in the Bible- came here from a google search- where/how do you keep them? I cannot seem to find that information here!
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
We are asking if anyone knows why Paul was like a horse.
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
Genesis 41:38-46 onward. Joseph "served in Pharaoh's court'. Is there another place where tennis is mentioned?
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
Oh yes, passed the humility test years ago, I can humbly admit that...It is great to see so many humility awards and trophies going out. Pastor Robert is so humble he congratulates me all the time on my humility. It's great.... ;)
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
I find humble people are very very boring. I think that all they want to do is talk about is themselves and how much sex they have enjoyed. Do you think we could find some sort of better word for them?
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
I think it's time we invited Pastor Hugh Potter into this discussion. We tease each other about being the most humble pastors, to the point that I often refer to him as Pastor Hugh-mility. I think that makes me more humble than him. Come on...join in, Pastor Hu-mility. Show us how humble you are! But don't be proud of it!
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
Levi, you seem to be such a basic humble fellow, I think that you should have had a statue made of yourself so that more people whould be able to see you and remember your as a most profound humble man.
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
Steve, I get your pun. I made my humility placque simple. I put my picture in the center with 12 red roses around it. An a script below that said, "To the Most Humble Man ALIVE". It looks great. What were you planning?
