FreedomTruthSeekers:
"Grace and Righteousness"

Grace and righteousness are two misunderstood subjects. Righteousness is a gift from Jesus who paid the price for our sins. Grace is His ability to keep the law, which is the standard of righteousness. Grace, or Jesus in us, allows us to fulfill all righteousness, obeying God’s laws of love. Accept Jesus' grace to walk in righteousness, by His power, not yours. Series runs from May 24th to June 7th on FreedomTruthSeekers.com.

Been Betrayed by Man? Have Faith in GOD!

Apr 11

Ever been betrayed by people? Pastor Bill Winston expressed one of the great themes that has characterized this feast: “Have faith in God!” He boldly tells us that we should not be counting ourselves to see miracles released, but instead to expect great things of God. We don’t need to be embarrassed or even have a negative expectation when we lay hands on the sick. We are only obeying God, so why not allow God to be responsible for doing the healing. “What if it doesn’t work” should not be in our vocabulary or thoughts. We should be in thanksgiving that God is in charge and He is the worker of miracles, not us.

With men, all things can become impossible. They betray us, disappoint us, and we disappoint ourselves. But Jesus is faithful. It is His responsibility to perform the miracle. Nothing—no, nothing— is impossible with God. It is not for us to bother our brains by trying to figure out how God will do it. Just thank Him that He has done it!

That’s faith! Psalm 62 teaches us we are to trust only in God. Men will let us down, hurt us, make us feel like giving up sometimes, but Jesus will never leave or forsake us. Betrayal is broken off at Passover, and God wants to teach us in this feast to trust solely in Him so we will not surrender to betrayal. We quote below a recent addition to our Passover Season article under Celebrations on our church site, a quote than mentions this enemy of betrayal, the number two demon under Satan…

God commands us to remove yeast or leaven, that is, bread and products made from flour that has risen by yeast out of our homes before the beginning of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and to eat unleavened bread during the days of the feast. We recommend taking communion with the unleavened bread every day of the feast. Agents such as baking soda, baking powder, cream of tartar, and bicarbonate of soda may be leavening agents, but they are not classified as yeast or leaven, so you don't have to throw them out unless your conscience leads you to do so. Yeast is the item that symbolizes sin, so it is what must be eliminated during the feast. Why yeast? It is an agent of the spirit of blight, which is an agent of betrayal.

Re: Been Betrayed by Man? Have Faith in GOD!

It is easy to be betrayed and to betray people without half trying. It is very hard to deal the with the results and long term effects.

If a person keeps praying for you but they are always in fear, are they betraying you by their words, or attitude.

Josh,
Be more guarded and selective about who you share things with. We hope you kept Passover, which is a breaker of betrayal. If not, tell us and we will tell you how to break it off.

Re: Been Betrayed by Man? Have Faith in GOD!

Goes God punish boys who promise to be faithful and then run amuck and get involved with a whole lot of other women?

Mylinda, God has set in motions laws that have cause and effect. The young men who live by betrayals rules, suffer the oppressive weight of their choices. When they acknowledge their sin and are ready to change, God is ready to heal them and you to if you are willing to forgive from your heart.

Re: Been Betrayed by Man? Have Faith in GOD!

I resently got engaged to a very wonderful woman. My dad has been pressuring me to let him try her out before we marry because he wants to make sure she will be the right one for me. I cannot stand the thought of such a thing happening but he will not lay off of the idea.

Re: Been Betrayed by Man? Have Faith in GOD!

Michael,
Stand your ground. Sex is not the criteria for a happy marriage. Forgive your father for his perversions and for trying to corrupt your bride; however, do not give in to his illicit desires. Don't allow her to be anywhere near him so he cannot rape her. Pray protection over her by the Word and the blood of Jesus.

Re: What Do You Do for Fun (that Jesus would approve of)?
Holy, it sounds like you have not had much fun in your life. I can identify with that from a background of hard work and work hard. Religiosity dictates that principle. Jesus and our Father Love are different, they rejoice over us. Zeph. 3:17 "Jesus your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness,(the word rejoice also means dancing) He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing". For more information you could go to freedomtruthseekers.com and click on You tube. Then under Robert Scott's other channels choose Freedom Church, then 'featured channels' choose Mercy Mission. Here there are two short videos on the "Importance of Fun" that should answer more of your questions. We would also advise you to turn over the bitterness that comes from not having fun. The New Moon is good for this. We bless you with the ability to laugh more and have fun. The joy of Jesus is our strength.
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
Who advised believers to sing? Can you find where Jesus was singing?
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
Here is the answer to why was Paul like a horse. He liked Timothy. And as far as we can find, the shortest man in the Bible was Bildad the Shuhite (shoe-height). He was one of Job's "comforters". And he was of little comfort. Job 2:11
Re: What Do You Do for Fun (that Jesus would approve of)?
Our pastor said that Jesus does not approve of have fun. People are to be seen working not playing in order to be the light of the world.
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
Glenn,
You are very perceptive. Of course, most of the comments are meant to be humorous. And truly humble people don't compare themselves with others.
Re: Why Do You or Don't You Observe Christmas and New Years?
JD Misto,
Check our site and you will find much on these feasts under "Celebrations." God bless you in keeping these feasts of God.
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
Hope someone can figure how Paul was like a horse. And maybe they can figure also who was the shortest man in the Bible.
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
Very good, Marilyn, you're exactly right! That's the only answer I know.
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
I think that insecurity is at the root of your humility test and all its trophy winners.
Re: My Dream Is Telling Me Something—But What? (#22)
In my dream I came into a room and there was a man from church there. This man I have known since I was 12. I smiled and was talking to other people in the room but didn't greet him with a hug until he said "arent' you going to give me a hug." So I went over to him. As we talked and laughed about things I noticed that his hair was darker and he got trimmer and trimmer. He was smiling and happy.
Re: Jesus Defeats the Witches' Brew—But Show Me How!(#21)
Levi J. Your bell is a bell of dismissal. It was supposed to awaken those away in astro projection, deep trances and soul transfers. This type of bell never rings unless its owner is in one of the afore mentioned states. This bell cannot be destroyed by normal means as they normally have upto 8 souls of warriors attached to it. The bell is harmless.
Re: Jesus Defeats the Witches' Brew—But Show Me How!(#21)
J.T. Somalian men never forgive a woman who offends them or challenges them. Even in their prayers they continue to issue curses against those who have offended them. But it appears that your heart is not free to forgive them either. You are wide open to accept their curses.
Re: Why Do You or Don't You Observe Christmas and New Years?
Of course not! We keep the Holy Days as outlined in the Bible- came here from a google search- where/how do you keep them? I cannot seem to find that information here!
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
We are asking if anyone knows why Paul was like a horse.
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
Genesis 41:38-46 onward. Joseph "served in Pharaoh's court'. Is there another place where tennis is mentioned?
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
Oh yes, passed the humility test years ago, I can humbly admit that...It is great to see so many humility awards and trophies going out. Pastor Robert is so humble he congratulates me all the time on my humility. It's great.... ;)
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
I find humble people are very very boring. I think that all they want to do is talk about is themselves and how much sex they have enjoyed. Do you think we could find some sort of better word for them?
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
I think it's time we invited Pastor Hugh Potter into this discussion. We tease each other about being the most humble pastors, to the point that I often refer to him as Pastor Hugh-mility. I think that makes me more humble than him. Come on...join in, Pastor Hu-mility. Show us how humble you are! But don't be proud of it!
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
Levi, you seem to be such a basic humble fellow, I think that you should have had a statue made of yourself so that more people whould be able to see you and remember your as a most profound humble man.
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
Steve, I get your pun. I made my humility placque simple. I put my picture in the center with 12 red roses around it. An a script below that said, "To the Most Humble Man ALIVE". It looks great. What were you planning?
