FreedomTruthSeekers:
"Grace and Righteousness"

Grace and righteousness are two misunderstood subjects. Righteousness is a gift from Jesus who paid the price for our sins. Grace is His ability to keep the law, which is the standard of righteousness. Grace, or Jesus in us, allows us to fulfill all righteousness, obeying God’s laws of love. Accept Jesus' grace to walk in righteousness, by His power, not yours. Series runs from May 24th to June 7th on FreedomTruthSeekers.com.

December 21 Wasn’t Doomsday, But…

December 21 came and went, but people are sensing the end is near, and prophecy buffs are gathering in Texas for a three-day conference featuring Hal Lindsey and other prophecy teachers. People look to them for answers, but they don’t know the keys to understand prophecy. They don’t know who Israel is in prophecy. You will be surprised to find out who is the major player in Bible prophecy by ordering today. Click HERE

Passover Surprise! Jesus is Risen!

Mar 31

Written by:

Charley West gave a sermon March 31 explaining the surprising origin of Easter. We will endeavor to post his unedited notes here as Easter Surprise. To hear the sermon, go to www.robertsmoreofjesus.com home page and click on the audio. The surprise revealed in the sermon may be a little different from the Passover surprise we explain below.

We want to emphasize that Passover is not a funeral. It was a joyous celebration when Israel came out of slavery in Egypt, and it is still a joyous time—the most joyous feast of the year. We celebrate our freedom in a Jesus who is no longer suffering and no longer on a cross. He is risen. He is risen indeed!

The third day of Unleavened Bread celebrates specifically His resurrection since He was indeed resurrected on the third day, 3 full days and nights after His burial on Passover day (Mat. 12:40; Luke 23:54).

We and the Christian world celebrate the same thing but in different ways. We believe as Charley's sermon explains that our celebration passes the biblical test.

Re: Easter Surprise!

I find that interesting yet I cannot see anyone willing to change because of it. How is his teaching supposed to help anyone?

Re: Easter Surprise!

The traditions of ancient times always seem to have more influence over religion than does the truth. I do not think that people will easily give up their traditions even when Jesus returns. S why try?

Re: Passover Surprise! Jesus is Risen!

I believe that there is more paganisn in modern christianity than there is truth. There seems to be thousand of errors readily accepted and nearly all truth rejected. Is this because the Sabbath has been rejected or that people love lies more than the truth?

Re: Passover Surprise! Jesus is Risen!

Steve, probably for both reasons you cited. God has shown our apostle that there are 9211 doctrines of demons in the churches today.

Re: Passover Surprise! Jesus is Risen!

I do not understand how you can tell when a holy year begins and how you can tell when Jesus was crusified when every year it bounces around? Should it not be fixed like Christmas?

Re: Passover Surprise! Jesus is Risen!

Wade,
God's Hebrew calendar is different from our modern Roman calendar, so it always "bounces around" since it's a different method of calculating. Jesus was born on the Day of Trumpets 4 BC, which fell on September 22 that year. We celebrate His first coming and His return on the date in God's calendar, not on September 22. We are to follow God's standards, not the world's. We don't do things the world's way, but God's way, even if it can seem complicated. God holds His church leadership responsible for fixing these dates. If we made it like Christmas and having a fixed day in our modern calendar, we would be disobedient to God.

Re: Passover Surprise! Jesus is Risen!

Passover night went extremely well. Everyone loved the teaching and the freedom thereafter.

Re: Passover Surprise! Jesus is Risen!

Pastor Arnold,
Great to receive the first feedback from those keeping this Passover around the world. We plan to post a more complete version of our apostle's teaching last night on our church site soon, for those who will keep the second Passover, and we also hope to upload the video on www.robertsmoreofjesus.com.

Re: Passover Surprise! Jesus is Risen!

All 24 of us had a great Passover in Red Deer. And we did enjoy the teaching. Looking foreward to the 1st day and the Night to be Much Remembered.

Re: Passover Surprise! Jesus is Risen!

We had 23 here for Passover. Everyone enjoyed it and felt the freedom from the teaching given. We look foreward to the days of unleavened bread. Be blessed.

Rose,
Y'all be blessed as well, in Jesus' name. We are thankful for the large number that were blessed at the Passover service.

Re: Passover Surprise! Jesus is Risen!

I enjoyed this passover with three of my friends. And we got together last night for the Night to Be Much Remembered. There was a fellowship there that I had never expirienced before in my life. Everyone left very uplifted and rejoicing at the good time that we had.

Re: Passover Surprise! Jesus is Risen!

If Jesus is risen why is it that He is still shown dead on a cross?

Re: Passover Surprise! Jesus is Risen!

Leonard,
Because the universal church worships the demon of cruelty, and they value the ways of death more than the ways of life.

Re: What Do You Do for Fun (that Jesus would approve of)?
Our pastor said that Jesus does not approve of have fun. People are to be seen working not playing in order to be the light of the world.
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
Glenn,
You are very perceptive. Of course, most of the comments are meant to be humorous. And truly humble people don't compare themselves with others.
Re: Why Do You or Don't You Observe Christmas and New Years?
JD Misto,
Check our site and you will find much on these feasts under "Celebrations." God bless you in keeping these feasts of God.
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
Hope someone can figure how Paul was like a horse. And maybe they can figure also who was the shortest man in the Bible.
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
Very good, Marilyn, you're exactly right! That's the only answer I know.
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
I think that insecurity is at the root of your humility test and all its trophy winners.
Re: My Dream Is Telling Me Something—But What? (#22)
In my dream I came into a room and there was a man from church there. This man I have known since I was 12. I smiled and was talking to other people in the room but didn't greet him with a hug until he said "arent' you going to give me a hug." So I went over to him. As we talked and laughed about things I noticed that his hair was darker and he got trimmer and trimmer. He was smiling and happy.
Re: Jesus Defeats the Witches' Brew—But Show Me How!(#21)
Levi J. Your bell is a bell of dismissal. It was supposed to awaken those away in astro projection, deep trances and soul transfers. This type of bell never rings unless its owner is in one of the afore mentioned states. This bell cannot be destroyed by normal means as they normally have upto 8 souls of warriors attached to it. The bell is harmless.
Re: Jesus Defeats the Witches' Brew—But Show Me How!(#21)
J.T. Somalian men never forgive a woman who offends them or challenges them. Even in their prayers they continue to issue curses against those who have offended them. But it appears that your heart is not free to forgive them either. You are wide open to accept their curses.
Re: Why Do You or Don't You Observe Christmas and New Years?
Of course not! We keep the Holy Days as outlined in the Bible- came here from a google search- where/how do you keep them? I cannot seem to find that information here!
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
We are asking if anyone knows why Paul was like a horse.
Re: Humorous Tidbit Test: Where is Tennis Mentioned in the Bible?
Genesis 41:38-46 onward. Joseph "served in Pharaoh's court'. Is there another place where tennis is mentioned?
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
Oh yes, passed the humility test years ago, I can humbly admit that...It is great to see so many humility awards and trophies going out. Pastor Robert is so humble he congratulates me all the time on my humility. It's great.... ;)
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
I find humble people are very very boring. I think that all they want to do is talk about is themselves and how much sex they have enjoyed. Do you think we could find some sort of better word for them?
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
I think it's time we invited Pastor Hugh Potter into this discussion. We tease each other about being the most humble pastors, to the point that I often refer to him as Pastor Hugh-mility. I think that makes me more humble than him. Come on...join in, Pastor Hu-mility. Show us how humble you are! But don't be proud of it!
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
Levi, you seem to be such a basic humble fellow, I think that you should have had a statue made of yourself so that more people whould be able to see you and remember your as a most profound humble man.
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
Steve, I get your pun. I made my humility placque simple. I put my picture in the center with 12 red roses around it. An a script below that said, "To the Most Humble Man ALIVE". It looks great. What were you planning?
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
Levi, I am very humble and believe I deserve a trophy also. Discribe how you made yours and what it looks like so that we do not douplicate your design.
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
Levi,
We see you are proud of your humility. In the South they say it's more humble if you say "umble" without pronouncing the h. We do believe this is tongue-in-cheek and not cheeky, so thanks for the good laugh. And if it wasn't for a laugh, as Betty says, we will pray for you.
Re: Can You Pass the Humility Test?
Levi J. Congratulations on winning such an honorable award. Keep us posted on what ever else you chose to win so that we may pray for you on that matter also.
