FreedomTruthSeekers: "I Am Empowered!"
We can do nothing of ourselves. Our strength is in Jesus, who lives in us. He is the grace or Source of empowerment that enables us to fulfill God’s will in our lives, He empowers us for peace, prosperity, love, health, and victory. We can do all things in and through Him who strengthens us. This series runs from May 25th to June 8th, 2012 on FreedomTruthSeekers.
Bible Code Broken: The TRUTH about the Christian Sabbath Robert B. Scott
The Bible Code has brought great controversy. Even more controversial is this truth: the Bible itself is a coded book. The church today has been, as the Bible puts it, destroyed for lack of knowledge. The question is: why? The answer is the key to breaking the code. Click HERE to order your copy today!
We acknowledge that you need in some cases immediate answers of reassurance. Please know that you are being prayed for. When we receive news like some of you submit, it takes time for us deal with the shock and pain the losses that have affected you cause us. Our prayer warriors prefer giving you answers gained through prayer and compassion rather than through emotions. Know that there are those who immediately begin praying for those faced with difficult situations. They wait to see who the Holy Spirit wants to respond to each individual. We thank you for your understanding and patience.

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism? I think that forcing people to keep laws is legalism. Forcing them to marry someone that they do not want to marry is legalism also.

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism? Blayne,Who's forcing anybody to do anything. God never forces anyone, but Jesus said if you love Him you would keep His commandments (John 14:15). Is love legalism?

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism? God may not force people but he makes life very hard when his so called people insist on forcing other to do things that they do not want to do. Some people are just self rightious monsters who are so sour everything they say is legalistic.

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism? The laws of God are given in love so that peace will exist in ones heart and mind. Legalism is the burder that makes life miserable for the person with it and under it.

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism? I think that law is given to ensure people find ways to sin. Why else would there be so many?

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism? In our doctrines, the law is legalism, because faith in God is not as necessary as as being self righteous in doing the things of the law. We do not have room for grace, because there is a fear of God not a love for Him.

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism? Do Jews like legalism more than freedom, or do they just like traditions as a form of security.

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism? The keeping of the laws of God are not legalism when we do so through the strength of Jesus. If we decide to force others to do so than we have now entered the realms of legalism. The law of God is love so that we do not get trapped in the pit of dispair with Satan.

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism? The last time that I got to talk to pastor Gerald about another Benjamin Fast, he said he would be praying and asking if March 25th would be a good day for it. Do you know if he has received his answer yet?

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism? I was wondering if you could explane what legalism is? Is it an attitude, a demon, or an ideology?

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism? Daryle,Legalism is an evil spirit of demon that also translates itself and an attitude and ideology. As Pastor Arnold explained, those led by this demon try to make others come under this bondage, seeking to establish their own righteousness rather than the righteousness of Jesus that comes as a free gift. That free gift must be accepted, however, with a willingness to allow Jesus in us to actually keep His law of love, not simply pretend we are keeping it by falsely claiming Jesus did it all for us and we don't have to do anything. We must choose to obey and surrender to Jesus. Being judgmental of other accompanies legalism. Those who believe grace is license to disobey also judge believers who believe what Jesus said about obeying His commandments to show we love Him (John 14:15). They falsely accuse them of legalism. Grace is the power of Jesus in us to keep all the laws of love that bring blessings and keep us free from trying to do it ourselves only through legalism, judgmentalism, religiosity, and churchianity, all demons that go along with legalism. Legalism also involves picky rules added to the Bible as the Pharisees did, trying to be more righteous than Jesus. This is also idolatry.

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism? Do people who rely on legalism to prove that they are righteous, also rely on role playing or are they just ardent lyers?

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism? Mary,Legalists are definitely playing a role, as the attitude and activities of the Pharisees in Jesus' day illustrate. They have also accepted a lie and love lies.
