FreedomTruthSeekers:
"I Am Empowered!"

We can do nothing of ourselves. Our strength is in Jesus, who lives in us. He is the grace or Source of empowerment that enables us to fulfill God’s will in our lives, He empowers us for peace, prosperity, love, health, and victory. We can do all things in and through Him who strengthens us. This series runs from May 25th to June 8th, 2012 on FreedomTruthSeekers.

Bible Code Broken:
The TRUTH about the Christian Sabbath
Robert B. Scott

The Walking Dead

The Bible Code has brought great controversy. Even more controversial is this truth: the Bible itself is a coded book. The church today has been, as the Bible puts it, destroyed for lack of knowledge. The question is: why? The answer is the key to breaking the code. Click HERE to order your copy today!

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism?

I think that forcing people to keep laws is legalism. Forcing them to marry someone that they do not want to marry is legalism also.

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism?

Blayne,
Who's forcing anybody to do anything. God never forces anyone, but Jesus said if you love Him you would keep His commandments (John 14:15). Is love legalism?

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism?

God may not force people but he makes life very hard when his so called people insist on forcing other to do things that they do not want to do. Some people are just self rightious monsters who are so sour everything they say is legalistic.

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism?

The laws of God are given in love so that peace will exist in ones heart and mind. Legalism is the burder that makes life miserable for the person with it and under it.

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism?

I think that law is given to ensure people find ways to sin. Why else would there be so many?

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism?

In our doctrines, the law is legalism, because faith in God is not as necessary as as being self righteous in doing the things of the law. We do not have room for grace, because there is a fear of God not a love for Him.

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism?

Do Jews like legalism more than freedom, or do they just like traditions as a form of security.

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism?

The keeping of the laws of God are not legalism when we do so through the strength of Jesus. If we decide to force others to do so than we have now entered the realms of legalism. The law of God is love so that we do not get trapped in the pit of dispair with Satan.

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism?

The last time that I got to talk to pastor Gerald about another Benjamin Fast, he said he would be praying and asking if March 25th would be a good day for it. Do you know if he has received his answer yet?

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism?

I was wondering if you could explane what legalism is? Is it an attitude, a demon, or an ideology?

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism?

Daryle,
Legalism is an evil spirit of demon that also translates itself and an attitude and ideology. As Pastor Arnold explained, those led by this demon try to make others come under this bondage, seeking to establish their own righteousness rather than the righteousness of Jesus that comes as a free gift. That free gift must be accepted, however, with a willingness to allow Jesus in us to actually keep His law of love, not simply pretend we are keeping it by falsely claiming Jesus did it all for us and we don't have to do anything. We must choose to obey and surrender to Jesus. Being judgmental of other accompanies legalism. Those who believe grace is license to disobey also judge believers who believe what Jesus said about obeying His commandments to show we love Him (John 14:15). They falsely accuse them of legalism. Grace is the power of Jesus in us to keep all the laws of love that bring blessings and keep us free from trying to do it ourselves only through legalism, judgmentalism, religiosity, and churchianity, all demons that go along with legalism. Legalism also involves picky rules added to the Bible as the Pharisees did, trying to be more righteous than Jesus. This is also idolatry.

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism?

Do people who rely on legalism to prove that they are righteous, also rely on role playing or are they just ardent lyers?

Re: Is Law Keeping Legalism?

Mary,
Legalists are definitely playing a role, as the attitude and activities of the Pharisees in Jesus' day illustrate. They have also accepted a lie and love lies.

Re: Celebrate Pentecost May 27!
Elie,
Of course, Jesus can make people clean, by His blood shed for us. Yet meats are another thing. God does not change when He says meats are unclean.
Re: Celebrate Pentecost May 27!
Are you saying that something unclean cannot be made holy? How about people who are unclean, does that mean that they cannot be made clean?
Re: Celebrate Pentecost May 27!
Elie,
Meats that are declared unclean by God are not "sanctified by means of the Word of God and prayer" (1 Tim. 4:5). You can pray blessings all you want over pig, but the Word of God does not bless it or sanctify it. If your pastor blessed money that he stole, that money would not be blessed, would it? So what he says is false. God calls His priests to distinguish between what is clean and unclean, holy and profane (Lev. 10:10; Jer. 15:19).
Re: Celebrate Pentecost May 27!
Our church is having a pig roast and picnic this year for pentecost. Our pastor said that what ever he blesses on earth is therefore blessed by God in heaven. Does that cause the Holy Spirit to embue power into people, because of there faithful prayers?
Re: Please Help Understand My Dream # 11
I had a dream that my family had lice. I looked at my own hair and had lice as well but they looked more like maggots. Thank you Jesus for revelation.
Re: Please Help Understand My Dream # 11
Joyce, Your dream is warning you that you are about to be tried three times about going back into past mistakes. Your choice to follow Jesus and His purpose for your life brings into a new level of faith and lets you leave a lot of mistakes behind for ever. Time to do a good laydown and start rejoice.
Re: Please Help Understand My Dream # 11
Shalom,

I had a dream that I was with my daughter; she was at work and was given responsibility and honor for her work. She was being given keys, but a high mountain came up and blocked her from receiving the keys. I looked for her but could not find her. Her husband was there but she was not.
I was upset when I woke up. Thank you.
Re: Please Help Understand My Dream # 11
Marilyn, Your dream is telling you that a large number of stronghold are about to crumble in your life. The ring represents freedom and strength. The store is a new supple of grace to move into a new level of love and faith. Obviously something very important is about to be turned over at the new moon. Do not rush your lay down time, make it complete.
Re: Please Help Understand My Dream # 11
Hallelujah! Thank you for your interpretation and thank you Jesus! We thank Jesus for a blessed laydown!
Re: Please Help Understand My Dream # 11
Laneea and other believers, there have been multiple dreams where Jesus wants me to move out. I had the perfect place but people started praying fear into it so the opportunity closed. I want to move out now and then a friend and I are planning on rooming together at the end of August. I would appreciate prayers of revelation as I can see the effects on my school work, etc. Thank you Jesus for revelation and redemption.
Re: Please Help Understand My Dream # 11
Bellah, Make sure that you turn over to Jesus on the new moon, the betrayal, devaluation and especially the pain that your husband caused.
Re: Please Help Understand My Dream # 11
Krista, Your dream is telling you that you are using perfectionism and judgementalism to decide what anyone person is doing and what their purpose was in doing it. This creates massive insecurity in yourself.
Re: Please Help Understand My Dream # 11
In my dream I saw an old boyfriend, we never talked nor were together, but I had the impression
he wanted me to go with him. This happened a few times & then I said no, I am marrying Jesus.
I headed away from the event. Then an acquaintenance from a church I attended as a child
appeared (in real life he was killed in an accident many years ago) as I proceeded to get away from the one who had approached another lady by now. The acqaintenance & I then continued to head in the opposite direction. Thank you for any help you can give in understanding this.
Re: Please Help Understand My Dream # 11
Shalom Everyone. Last night in a dream ( only remember part of the dream) I was given a grey metal ring that looked like an eagle. It was equipped with a mirror, siren, and other things. I had it with me and drove to a large town. Someone was with me at this point. We had to park outside the town and walk the last half mile to get to the first store.( The ring was left in the car.) On the way a very old building fell down, then another, then another. A total of three by the time we reached the store. Thank you for help in understanding this dream.
Re: Please Help Understand My Dream # 11
Bellah,
We believe you are making a wise decision, and we praise God for this miraculous turnaround.
Re: Grace Q & A
Nick,
People are raised because a true believer calls them forth as Jesus did Lazarus. While in some cases mercy may be involved, God must honour the faith and words of a believer.
Re: Please Help Understand My Dream # 11
Laneea, I do thank you for your understanding of my dream. I confronted my husband and he admitted that he had been having an affair. He also said that he had been planning with her ways of getting rid of me without the cost of a divorce. He said he is dropping her and asked me to forgive him. He said it would not be profitable to loose someone that God loves. I think I will give him any other chance.
Re: Grace Q & A
When a person is raised from the dead, are they raised by grace, or by God showing mercy upon them?
Re: Please Help Understand My Dream # 11
In my dream I was in a dream/trance like state. I don't recall what I was doing. I woke up out of that state I was in and realised I had a brand new black car and it seemed my friend had parked it in front of my house for me. First it looked like it was scraped up against the curb, then on a major angle not straight, but when I got in to drive it I saw it was not too close to the curb and it was parked straight. I had the horrible feeling that I had done something wrong that could not be undone and when I woke up I still felt that way, guilty, but I didn't know why or what I had done.
What does this mean?
Could the guilt have come from others who have unforgiveness to me, or because I've been unreliable lately? Or is it something else that I've been hiding from myself or not forgiving myself for?
Re: Please Help Understand My Dream # 11
Fabian, Your dream is telling you that you are living your life in a regret that came about because of a bad choice that you made in grade school. You either have to deal with it or the full force of that pain is about to manifest for you to have to endure. Ask the Father for help in finding the bad choice and dealing with it.
