Our feature article on this subject is up now on our home page, as is our full article on "Do You Hate the Real Jesus?" We know late 2012 has significance from a number of prophetic points of view; we simply don't know how much of hell will be released. A time of darkness will begin, but if you get to know the real Jesus, you will be a light shining in the darkness, full of faith and hope for the future. Are you getting ready to meet Jesus?

Re: 2012 A Door to Hell? I think that it should be listed as a doorway to heaven if the beast kills you for obeying Jesus. Would it not be better to think of it as a gateway to heaven?

Re: 2012 A Door to Hell? Melodie,Yes, if we delay our obedience and take on the martyr anointing to be killed in the Great Tribulation by the beast power, we do indeed open a place for us in heaven. However, for those who know the truth, it is far better to escape all these things and be raptured out of all this.

And heaven is only a glorious holding place before we come back with Jesus to clean up this Earth and then the whole universe, ever increasing the Family and Kingdom of God, with continual new challenges we can face because we are glorified in the Family of God. Is that boring?Why would anyone want to check out to see if hell is worth it? Hell is also a holding place until a second resurrection to life and knowing Jesus, or a resurrection to be burned up in a lake of fire, for those who do not accept Jesus when they have a viable opportunity now or in the second resurrection, and then cast into outer darkness forever if they have accepted Jesus and turned from him.Choose life, Ted!

Hell is a term used by God in the Bible, but it is a large and misunderstood subject we deal with in an article on our A-Z section of our site. The main Hebrew term is sheol, which simply means the place of the dead. Those alive in Jesus go to heaven when their bodies die. Those who do not know Him sleep (their souls, that is) there awaiting their call and resurrection to know Jesus after the Millennium of peace on Earth ruled by Jesus. Only a small minority of souls are actually tormented, mainly mentally, in the lower levels of hell because they rejected Jesus after knowing him. Scenes of distress have thus become connected with hell, sometimes because of false ideas about the subject.

Re: 2012 A Door to Hell? Anton M. All drug additions are gateways to hell, because the break the first commandment when one becomes addicted to that drug. All drug addictions steel everything worth having out of ones life and joy is one of the first things to go and never come back.
