Overthink

We thank our strong believing bloggers for pointing out the following concepts about the problem of “overthink.” Here are some excerpts from recent blog posts…
“You are under an incantation called OVERTHINK. People say think about this, or why do you think on this, use your head and think, or even just think. It is not pray on this for the will of God, or pray first, act later. This Overthink allows guilt and revenge access to your dreams, daydreams, and visions. I suggest that you acknowledge this condition and turn it over. It prevents clear hearing and seeing as well as clear thinking. Your heart hears the Holy Spirit darkly through clouds of despair. Get rid of them.” Laneea
“Krista, I fully agree with Laneea's excellent interpretation of your dream. The curse of over think, has become an incantation that must be dealt with immediately. Overthink will cause so much double mindedness that it will become impossible to think straight and you will be worshipping doubts and fears until the second coming of Jesus. Laura k
As we learned tonight in Bible Study from our apostle after he consulted with one more learned in this field, we found out the following…
The person who overthinks is attacked with three main fears, the fear of lack of perfection (they can’t say, “I am perfect. The blood of Jesus has washed me clean); the fear of acceptance by God and people (they can’t accept themselves because they worship perfectionism, so how could anyone else, especially God, accept them. So since he can’t, they must keep on trying to perfect themselves by thinking, using their fleshly brain rather than seeking God); fear of nothing to worry about (after all, what would they do if they couldn’t worry about something?).
They are attacked with three main doubts: they doubt God’s ability to solve their problems; they doubt the Father’s love or that God is love; they doubt their own understanding of what the Father’s will is. In a survey, 97.8% of Christians said they did not believe God loved them.
Overthinkers often have sleep disorders, and the demon of anxiety causes them to be anxious about tomorrow, about innuendos, and about threats. They are also anxious about provision, healing, and truth.
Many of our bloggers, including those who defend Christmas, are overthinkers who have thought about their own paradigms and wonder why God and His Word are so wrong.
We can lay down our overthinking on the new moon as we come to understand how self-curses and curses from others, followed by spells and incantations have driven us into overthink. Now don’t think too much about, this except to meditate on it and lay it down to Jesus. And remember, Father knows best, and if we will lay down our thoughts, we can know His, and find all His solutions to all our problems.

Re: Overthink
I think that overthink is more a way of life that some sort of incantation. I think that kids see partents do it so they fallow through with it themselves.

Re: Overthink
Harmon, You are right that it is often generational; however, you are wrong to assume that even in generational hand-me-downs of this problem that no curses, spells, and incantations are issued.

Re: Overthink
I think that insecurity causes people to go into overthink? Every person I know that overthinks everything, is insecure in who or what they are.

Re: Overthink
People are told to think about things all the time, that is how they end up making a choice as to life or death items. So why not think out your choices completely?

Re: Overthink
What does it look like to have guilt in your dream? And how does guilt in a dream cause one to overthink and miss out on what God want them to do?

Re: Overthink
Sumdeep, Guilt is a demon who causes you to dwell on past mistakes and to deny your future in Jesus because of your past sins or mistakes. It will often show up as someone punishing you for your past or a weakness that you have no power to overcome at that time. Guilt sets the mood and attitude to keep trying to earn forgiveness and seek sympathy as a guide to get peace.

Re: Overthink
When a person dwells only on why things cannot be done, are they locked into this overthinking problem?
