Return to the Father's Heart
So the Earth Will Survive
Robert B. Scott

Return to the Father’s Heart

This crucial book will pave the way for the of coming Elijah of Malachi 4:5-6, who is prophesied to bring today’s absent fathers toward their neglected or jettisoned children and bring the heart of believers back to their Father in heaven. The book offers a solution to a pervasive problem among men today: their inability to forgive abusive fathers. This modern-day Elijah will “restore all things” (Mat. 17:11), including the true gospel of the Kingdom or Family of God, revealing the dangerous error of the grace revolution leading to the appearance of the man of lawlessness, an evil leader who will fight the second coming of Jesus. Is the San Andreas Movie Prophetic? Freedom Church of God

Christian Movie Review of San Andreas

A dramatic and well-done representation of an event some prophecy teachers are predicting will happen imminently, in the next few months. The amazing coincidences in this film are high unlikely, unless the true believers trust the real Rock, not Dwayne Johnson, but Jesus Christ.

He gives promises in His Word of protection, thousands dying by your side and you coming out unblemished, protected by the angels of God. Psalm 91 even says the angels will bear you up in their hands, so that “you do not strike your foot against a stone” (Psalms 91:12). In the movie the stones were striking the whole body and killing many people. A person who quotes the Word of God in faith has nothing to fear. Jesus is our only salvation who will rescue and protect us spiritually and even physically in these times of great trouble just ahead.

Economic collapse will require trust in Jesus only, not money. He is our only security. Though the mountains quake, says Psalm 46, a spiritual river makes the people of God glad, and God’s sons and daughters will not be moved even though the earth shakes under the weight of sin (Isa. 24:20).

In both testaments, Jesus was the Rock (1 Cor. 10:4; 1 Sam. 2:2; Ps. 144:1). He is the same throughout time (Heb. 13:8). The term “rock” refers to solidity, strength, or firm foundation. Jesus is the Rock, and He refers to His Word as a rock (Mat. 7:24).

Those who rely only on the Rock Jesus rather than man are referred to in Hebrews 12:27, where God says He will shake heaven and earth in the last days “so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.” We are members of a Kingdom “which cannot be shaken (verse 28).

God is our rock and refuge, “a very present help in trouble” (Psalms 46:1). God tells us not to fear even though “the mountains slip into the heart of the sea,” even “though the mountains quake…” (46:2-3). Then God says those in His “city” or His people “will not be moved…” (46:5). He says He is our Stronghold when “the kingdoms tottered.”  (46:5).

Those who don’t know Jesus will die, but they will be resurrected for an opportunity for salvation in a perfect world years after this earth has been ruled for 1000 years by Jesus (Rev. 20:5). If the Father is drawing you to Jesus by today’s events and by His Spirit, you can have a sure hope of protection though the earth totters around you (John 6:44, John 15:16).

In a collapse of the ground under you or of the money most trust, you and your family can be secure in Jesus.

Don’t be alarmed. Understand the events even most prophecy teachers ignore by reading Hidden Truth from Prophecy—Beyond 2012

Would you celebrate Christmas if you knew that.... Charlene Bishop

The Moabites were worshippers of the God of prosperity, Chesmosh.  It was the same Chesmosh cast iron potbellied god as the Ammonites worshipped – Molech.  They both wore the Phygian cap which was worn by Tammuz and Babylon and later Mithra in Rome.  At the time of the winter solstice, December 25th, they had a public mass, a child mass, mass meaning sacrifice on the winter solstice.  The priests stoked the iron image of the enthroned Chemosh with wood and burning pitch, turning their potbellied god into a cherry red furnace.  People made long lists of their desires and recited them to their god of prosperity just before they put their infant children into the red hot lap of their cherished god with his Phygian cap.  As the babies were incinerated the people in the Dec. 25 child mass were assured that their sacrifice would be rewarded in the coming year.  On the same day south of Israel the Egyptians celebrated their Sun God Ra.  An Egyptian hieroglyph shows Ra castrating himself just as the Greek legend tells of the Greek god Attis performing the same surgery on himself.  Worshippers of Ra would hang gold and silver balls on an upright palm tree as Jeremiah reports it and place their decorated gifts to the sun god under the tree decorated with the gold and silver testicles of Ra.  This main custom was celebrated on the birthday of Ra, December 25th.   When Israel adopted this custom they did this with an evergreen tree which they cut out of the forest and erected it with hammer and nails so that it would not topple over and decorated it with silver and gold balls.  In the 1600’s it was illegal to have a Christmas tree or even or even a Christmas service in America.  The pilgrims knew that it was pure pagan sun god worship.  These are occult practices.  The origins of Christmas are well documented from the Encyclopedia to numerous historical documents.  This particular information I am sharing today was transcribed from a Youtube video by Michael Rood.  I chose it because of the concise manner which he summarizes the reason for the season.

Why Joseph Prince Told a “White Christmas” Lie on His TV Broadcast Today? Pastor Robert Scott

Will you swallow the lie I swallowed years ago? It’s one of the many lies of this popular grace revolution, which is in reality a grace rebellion against the laws of love of our God of love. These laws are the basis of the Kingdom of God, which is the only true gospel. Jesus preached it, and so did Paul! It’s a lie that is all too common in the Christian world. It involves pretending you know the Hebrew when what you say contradicts the plain Word of God. This lie even contradicts the very theme verse of this grace revolution, John 1:17. What is this dangerous lie? It involves the meaning of the Hebrew word chesed. It even involves the pagan celebrations of December 25! Yes, pagan celebrations! Read more…

I always assumed commentators were right in declaring that chesed meant grace, but that contradicts the clear words of John 1:17. In other words, the grace revolution proponents are contradicting their very them verse and adding to their schizophrenic declarations about the subject of grace. The verse says that the law came through Moses (which of course came directly to Moses through God, who was the One who became Jesus).

Remember the last part of that verse: grace and truth came through Jesus Christ when He came as a man. So God is saying there was no real grace in the First Testament, which is a favorite argument of the grace revolution.

Was there mercy? Of course. God is a God of mercy. But grace or the empowerment to obey the laws of love God gave in the Hebrew Scriptures came through Jesus when He came in the flesh as a man to die for us.

They are stretching it. Because they believe so firmly in this false grace doctrine, they try to say it’s been there all along in the Bible. But it hasn’t! They simply want it to be true so they can pretend that the same God has always been a God of grace.

Why would God say, “O, that there were such a heart in them, that they would love Me and keep My commandments, “ my paraphrase of Deuteronomy 5:29?

The simple answer is that Jesus, who is the Word who spoke the Ten Commandments, was saying this: I am Grace with a capital G. I’m coming to die for your sins, your breaking of My law, and to then live within you so you have the power to change the focus from “Thou shalt not…” to  “Love does not….”

The grace revolutionists don’t like that focus because they want you to see the law as bad, not good. Yet God says the law is good throughout the Bible. He never puts a bad spin on His commandments as the grace people do, as Joseph Prince has done on his broadcast today, Thursday, December 18.

We must challenge him. His statement contradicts his own theme verse of John 1:17. He’s taking away what makes Jesus different in the New Testament than in the “old,” which is not old at all.

How could Jesus come to bring grace if it already existed? How could the law be in our hearts unless Jesus, Grace personified, is now in our hearts (Jeremiah 31 and Hebrews 8). If you read those two chapters together, you will understand what grace is.

Grace is having Jesus in your heart so His laws that He gave long ago will be in your heart. You now have the empowerment, the grace, to perform what your flesh can’t.

You will understand that the whole Bible is to be observed by the power of Jesus or grace within us.

A believer will have the strength to buck the crowd and stop keeping the pagan holidays like Christmas that have been baptized Christian when Jesus never did!

They will actually have the power to obey the last few verses of Deuteronomy 12 and the clear verses of Jeremiah 10 that gives a surprisingly accurate description of the Christmas tree!

I takes courage to go against the mainstream. “But everybody who’s anybody keeps Christmas! You must be in a cult.” No. It takes courage and Grace to keep God’s laws, even His unpopular laws.

Will you have the courage and the grace to come out of the world to obey God this December 25? The good news is the grace to keep the laws of the Kingdom of God came with Jesus, and He lives in you! You can do it!

God’s Times to Ask When, Why, and How Long, God? Pastor Robert Scott

God’s Times to Ask When, Why, and How Long, God?

Millions of Christians are keeping Christmas again this year. But are these God’s times of celebration and introspection? When Jesus returns, He will command all mankind to keep the Sabbath and the new moons (Isa. 66:23). This is a secret Christians don’t know. There is another secret they don't know. They don't know when to complain and wrestle with God. There is a time for everything and a time to pour out our hearts before God. Most psalms of David were written on the Sabbath and the new moons. Asaph asked some troubling questions on the new moon. Why do others prosper when I have to go through these trials (Psalm 73)? Why are true Christians being persecuted and heavily tried when nominal Christians are being blessed? Stay tuned for the surprising answer…Read more…

Asaph understood the answers to his troubling questions when he entered the sanctuary of God on the new moon after he had wrestled with God about these questions (Ps. 73:17).

Why is a congregation that has so much truth being tested and tried? Why does God allow its leading lady to pass away? Two of our deaconesses have passed away recently. Why?

Is it like some Canadians are saying at the passing of Myles Monroe? Is it true that God took him? No, it's not. Satan took him and Satan took our deaconesses. God didn't cause it but He allowed it. He knows the end from the beginning. He knew certain congregations would be in disunity, which would allow Satan to have his way.

After believers pass critical tests of maturity, Satan tries to take them out and he can succeed unless the congregation is in unity and speaking the right words. Wrong words can cause pain and even death (Prov. 18:21).

The righteous man or woman is sometimes taken out to escape the evil to come (Isa. 57:1). They still have work to do, but they had passed important tests and God knew they were ready to go if Satan did take them.

Should we ask God why? Yes, but there is a proper time and procedure for everything (Eccl. 8:6). When believers ask the whys and the whens of God at the wrong time, they can cause death. They can easily accuse the brethren. When they ask those difficult questions at the new moon, they often get God's secret answers to satisfy their curiosity.

Knowing why God does things gives great assurance and confidence. While many Christians want to remain ignorant of those answers, others press on and find the answers as they wrestle with God on the new moon.

Why do we have to observe Satan’s days instead of God's days? When Jesus returns for a thousand years of peace, those who don't keep His days will be deprived of rain. If you keep Christmas, you'll go dry. Why can't we keep God's days and know God's secrets that He offers to His servants?

Jesus, as well as all the apostles, including Paul, kept the days ordained as God's days in Leviticus 23 (Acts 24:14).  We would have less and less questions and more and more answers from God if we did. We would be much merrier if we abandoned Christmas for the joy of Jesus received on His days.

Power and Protection Charlene Bishop
This last weekend I had the opportunity of being with the youth of our church talking about the up coming Fall Festival.  We learned about the power and protection that these days have brought to God's people throughout the centuries.  Time and time again in the bible we see where God's chosen people prospered when they kept all the commandments, statutes and ordinances of God.  Every time they forgot the law of God and turned to the false gods of the nations around them they fell into slavery.  No different today!  We see God's people again going into slavery.  Our youth were taught the meaning of the word grace from the Ancient Hebrew.  The word is made up of a letter meaning a "pitched tent" or "to camp" and a letter meaning "wall."  The Israelites would set up their tents in a sort of circle and these tents served as "a wall."  Another word from the Parent root is the letter for foot and the letter for wall which is "feast"  The participants of a festival would gather together and dance in a circle.  Additional meanings are  keep, feast, celebrate, dance, holy day, reel to and fro.  Grace is the empowerment these Holy Days bring to us.  Their deep and diverse meanings show the power of God, the plan of God and hope for mankind.  When we keep these days we can boldly stand with Jesus against our enemies because through the Holy Days we learn who Jesus is, what He did for us and in that deeper understanding of our identity in Him we can take the sword of the Word and speak boldly against our enemies.  For information regarding the ancient Hebrew refer to the "Ancient Hebrew" website by Jeff A. Benner.

Noah Movie—Biblical Review Pastor Robert Scott

What You Don’t Know about Noah—A Biblical Movie Review

Noah is entertaining, imaginative, “Hollywoodical,” but not biblical! It is evident that an atheist produced it. He used elements that had a faint link to the Bible and from Jewish mysticism, the Kabbala.

 Noah Movie Review

The controversial movie Noah has raised many eyebrows, and for just cause. It is entertaining, artistic, and imaginative, but extremely unbiblical. Here are only a few reasons that is the case.

Here are some of the many biblical inaccuracies:

  1. Noah’s three sons had to marry women of different races in order for the three races to exist today (Gen. 6:18). It would have been necessary for Shem to marry another Caucasian woman, for Ham to marry a Negroid woman of brown color, and for Japheth to marry a yellow or Asian woman. This was not the case in the movie.
  2. The earth was filled with violence at the time (Gen. 6:11), but Noah walked with God and was not a violent man who killed others as the film portrays.
  3. The flood caught the evil world by surprise (Mat. 24:39); they didn’t try to kill Noah and attack the ark as the film portrayed.
  4. No evil men were allowed on the ark, such as evil Tubalcain, as the movie shows.
  5. God supernaturally closed the doors of the ark, not Noah as in the movie (Gen. 7:16).
  6. The watchers weren’t “rock people” but humanoid aliens that used genetic manipulation to produce a race of giants that inhabited the earth at that time and that will return just before the coming back of Jesus (Gen. 6:4; Mat. 24:37). You can find all the details in Hidden Truth from Prophecy—Beyond 2012 by Robert B. Scott.
  7. Lawlessness characterized Noah’s day. We need to be reminded that the wrath of the Lamb is coming because of lawlessness of the people, this time not with water but with fire. The lawlessness today is the idea that God’s grace allows you to sin and do what you want, as in Noah’s day. To learn more about this “grace revolution,” procure the e-book, Grace Revolution?—Or Deadly Deception?. To see another review, see Dr. Michael Brown’s YouTube video. He compares today’s coming judgment to Pompei’s fiery destruction he just saw and that I witnessed on a visit to Italy in 1970.
  8. Mark Driscoll mentioned Noah in his article in Charisma in which he said: "Noah was not a good guy but a graced guy." This may agree with the grace revolution, but it isn’t biblical. We see in the movie a flawed Noah who didn’t walk with God as the Bible says. He was an angry man ready to kill baby girls in the film. Grace only came with Jesus, not before (John 1:17). Noah received favor from God because of His obedience to God’s law, but he didn’t have access to the empowerment of grace to obey. As we have in Jesus.
  9. The good news is that we don’t have to be unawares in the time of the end. We can obey God’s law by grace and receive the same favor as Noah. We can claim the covenant God made with Noah, one of the present nine covenants we have with God. It’s a covenant of protection from the calamities to come and family salvation and protection. We and our families can qualify for a rapture to heaven or a place of safety according to our faith. We don’t have to fear giants who will stalk the earth as in Noah’s day. We can either speak God’s Word against them or be protected in heaven or on earth from their ravages.
  10. Noah was blameless in his generations, resisting the sexual advances of giants who attacked women and men to rape and kill. He is mentioned as the most righteous of men (Ezek. 14:14). His name meant “rest,” and since he was righteous he rested on God’s holy days of rest. See our article Noah — An Example for the Last Days

We preach the true gospel of the Kingdom of God based on the law of love of our Father God, not a false gospel of grace. That’s the gospel Jesus and Paul preached (Mark 1:14-15; Acts 28:31).

Pastor Prince—Here's What the Word Says! Pastor Robert Scott
Pastor Prince—Here's What the Word Says!

While we love Pastor Joseph Prince and respect his anointing, we must challenge him on his recent teaching on Romans 8:4, one of the strong and clear passages that disprove the grace revolution. We give many more verses throughout the Bible in our coming new e-book on this revolution to be published soon by West Bow, division of Thomas Nelson and Zondervan, this is a key verse that says unequivocally that the requirement of the law is fulfilled in us by Jesus or Grace in us or by the Spirit of God in us, since all three members of the Trinity are in us and give us the power to keep God's law of love.

The meaning of the Greek word for "in" us is a distraction from the clear meaning of the verse, and is not a correct handling of the Word of God, which clearly throughout its pages teaches obedience to God's law by the Grace that is Jesus in us. Whether it's "in" us or "by" us is irrelevant. We have Jesus "in" and He is Grace and Truth. What we heard on one of Pastor Prince's recent broadcast isn't truth but a twisting of the Word of God. It's easy to say, "the Greek says..." and lead people into deception.

We denounce this incorrect reading of the clear meaning of this verse, that the law still has requirements for the New Covenant believer, and those requirements should be and will be fulfilled in us by Jesus' true grace or empowerment. The law isn't done away, and Jesus condemns in no uncertain terms the teachings of lawlessness (Mat. 5:19).

We can all be family – again! Pastor Robert Scott

The truth of God's Word stands outside of time. It is the same yesterday, today and forever.

The Last Great Day follows this Feast of Tabernacles on Monday, October 8, symbolically representing the final and greatest harvest of all time on the earth.

On this day there will be a resurrection of all of God's created beings after the 1000 years of Jesus' millennial rule. The Feast of Tabernacles served to show all who participated how we will walk together in harmony, and be united by our common bond, Jesus, and His Love for all.

The Last Great Day will see the burning of the heavens and the earth making clear the way for a new heaven and a new earth. The Father will then be able to reside with those who have chosen to walk in His ways of love and obedience. The Book of Life will be opened on this day to all who have ever lived on earth because our Most High Loving Father God desires fellowship with all He has called to be like Him.

At this time, we can claim this following prayer for our relatives of previous generations.

But These Are the Lord's Days! Pastor Robert Scott

We thought this answer to a question on our radio blog would be helpful to some of you who may encounter similar opposition to what you are learning.

I tried to talk to my pastor about all the great things of truth that I was able to prove from the bible. He called me a daughter of Hell and you a false pastor. He said that anyone who could not see the holiness in Sunday. Christmas and Easter has to be a sex feign from Hell. He barred me for 30 days from church services. How can one be so full hate and anger-rage when they are suppose to be teaching love? I really do not want to go back to this church but it is the only one nearby.

By Venessa on Friday, May 27, 2011 12:33 P

Venessa,
Romans 8:28 tells us that all things work together for good to them that love God, and it is obvious that you love God and want to obey Him. This situation works for your good and gives you freedom from the church leadership that will twist everything you say. You do not want to be under such an oppressive authority that hates truth.
We choose to forgive your pastor and lay down all pain to Jesus. We are accustomed to this type of treatment, since we have over twenty churches in our area that curse our church, mainly because we keep the Sabbath.

It is indeed sad to see so much resistance to truths that are easily provable by the Bible. You must understand that those who demonstrate a lack of love by flying off in anger/rage and cursing when the Sabbath is mentioned have chosen to become the children of the father of lies.

Trust God and thank Him for providing a new place of worship, even if initially you have to begin on your own at home, thanking God for bringing you other believers who will join with you to form a small house church.

The first step, as always, is to choose to forgive this pastor, and then to reject his curses. Since they are authoritative, communion with unleavened bread and wine or juice is required, and it would be good if you had another believer to come in agreement with you. In any case, we do agree with you in this break off. We thank our Father for touching this pastor with the spirit of repentance and forgiveness.

Where are you located? Perhaps another person reading this blog in your area would be interested in fellowshipping with you on the Sabbath.

We have stirred the pot with our comments questioning Christmas. We thought we might stir it further with an excerpt from the eighth and final sermon we gave on “The Ways and Days of Baal.” Here it is…

In the fourth century, both for Sunday and Christmas, the argument became the familiar “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.” As we shall see later, Roman emperor Constantine -- a pagan calling himself Christian – brought Sunday worship into the official church. Christianizing the pagans? No. This compromise “paganized” the Christians!

Sunday became a “Christian” holiday and the church doors opened wide for Yuletide revelry, cleverly calling Jesus “the Sun.” Satan is no dummy. Early in church history, as Paul warned, he brought in wolves wearing sheep’s clothing. Similarly, he later brought in “holy” days stamped with the paws of the lying “lion” he is -- yet disguised as days to worship the Lamb of God.

The Bible never emphasized the celebration of the birth of Jesus, but rather focused on the day of his death, the Passover, that opened the way to salvation. God provided for the celebration of His birth on the day He was indeed born, the Day of Trumpets. That’s the day of the coming of the King, although His glorious return to the earth is the main focus of the day.

Yet alas, New Covenant believers have gone the way of the Old Covenant ones. History’s reruns are no fun. They lead to death. One thing leads to another, as it did with Israel. Jeroboam did exactly like Rome, especially the final dictator in the coming revived Roman Empire, “wearing down the saints” by making “alterations in times and in law” (Dan. 7:25). He did what the Roman church has done all along, changing God’s appointed times for days “he had devised in his own heart (I Kings 12:33).” It started small, keeping the Feast of Tabernacles one month late. The early church at Rome also started small, keeping both Saturday and Sunday. A little leaven leavens the whole lump.

Some Christians can hear the voice of the Holy Spirit when He speaks, but they can’t seem to see and hear what God speaks to them in His Word. And when the supposed voice of God contradicts His Word, they trade light for darkness (Isa. 8:20).

“So why don’t you keep Christmas?”

Christmas is sacred to so many today. But it is not sacred to God. Being against Christmas today, however, is tantamount to being against motherhood and family. People think, “What is your problem?” “Why are you against things that are good?”
One answer that comes to mind is Proverbs 16:25, “There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.”

Isaiah 8:19-20 also comes to mind: “…should not a people consult their God?...To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because they have no dawn [no light of truth].”

Some people, however, will only believe red letters, yet they refuse for the most part to believe these words of Jesus in Mark 7:7-9: “But in vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the precepts of men [as guided by demons]. Neglecting the commandment of God, you hold to the tradition of men…You are experts at setting aside the commandment of God in order to keep your tradition.”

Part of that tradition is the practice, based on a mistranslation that began in the King James Version of the Bible, of calling on “the Lord” rather than using the intimate names, Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. The word “LORD” in all capital letters actually comes from the Hebrew Yahovah or Yahweh. It means, “the Eternal” and has absolutely nothing to do with Lord, an English term of nobility five to seven levels below a king. In the few times when “Lord” appears in small letters, it should be translated, “Divine Master,” from the original, Adonai. That is the way it should most often be translated in the New Testament as well.

The Name of Jesus versus the Title “Lord”

Speaking of the name of Jesus, Acts 4:12 says, “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.” Not the title Lord, but the name of Jesus.

God calls us in His Word to revere the name of Jesus and to follow His ways and His days, not the ways, days, and names of Lord or Baal. Our Christian world has failed in that.

Jesus promises protection, blessing and intimacy only to those who know and love His name and have not denied it (Rev. 3:8; Ps. 91:14; Prov. 18:10; Ps. 69:36).
Do you know any loving wife who would call her husband by a title like breadwinner (which is the derivation of the English word “lord”)? Many Christians see Him only as a Provider but miss the first-name intimacy He wants to have with them.

To be more crudely accurate, would you husbands call your wife “slut” or “whore”? How do you think Jesus feels when we call Him by the name of a god of pagan sex worship? Baal was a well-endowed whoremonger. What an insult!

Father God yearns for us to call Him Father. His Son Jesus deeply desires for us to call Him by His name. The Holy Spirit is no different. Jesus tells us to pray to the Father, “Hallowed be Your name.”

We may use the generic name God on occasion to include all three. After all, the Holy Spirit uses the Hebrew El and Elohim and the Greek theos (root of our word theology) in the Bible. They are names that are translated “God.” As in God’s Word, we must distinguish between false gods and the true Creator God. God is a name – not a title. Lord is a title. The former exalts. The latter abases.

That being said, it is the personal names of God that carry the power, intimacy, and anointing. And the power of the name of Jesus is a part of the “all things” that the last days ministry of those who work in the spirit of Elijah would come to restore (Mat. 17:11).

It is no coincidence that Elijah’s major battle was with Baal worshippers (I Kings 18). In our modern times the worshippers of the ways, days, and names of Baal or Lord will be both targets and persecutors of the work that will be done in the same spirit as Elijah and John the Baptist.

The Joy of Passover Pastor Robert Scott
Satan hates Passover. It reminds him of what Jesus did to defeat him, so he has cleverly deceived Christians into believing it is Jewish and done away. And Satan fiercely attacks those who keep it, assailing them with all kinds of problems as the feast approaches. Our African brethren are especially attacked since Satan has attacked with lack of funds to assemble to keep the day. So many there and even among those who come to our web sites must keep it alone or with one or two others.

Allow us to paraphrase loosely Psalm 43 as an encouragement to all, especially those in Africa: Vindicate me, O God, and plead my case against an ungodly nation filled with lies, falseness, and corruption. Deliver me from the deceit and injustice in this nation, for You are My strength. Why do I feel rejected by You and others? Why am I down in the dumps of discouragement because Satan is doing everything he can to oppress me and attack me now? Send out your light and truth to dispel the darkness Satan tries to put upon me, so that your light may lead me to a closer relationship with You. I choose to go to Your altar or my personal altar of prayer and praise to keep Your Passover. This is the most joyous feast of the year, and You are my “exceeding joy” or rapture. When I pray to You and praise You, I am raptured, lifted up in ecstasy into Your glorious presence. So why indeed am I in despair because Satan knows his time is short and is turning up the heat? Why am I disturbed in my heart and mind, overwhelmed by his attacks? I choose to hope in You, for this too shall pass, and I shall again give you high praise for Your deliverance. Until I see it, I choose to thank and praise You for giving me the victory in Jesus. You are the one who empowers me to turn my lips upward in joy when I am attacked, as I look up to You and down on Satan and on his feeble attempts to discourage me, for You are my help and salvation. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The Passover is for baptized believers, and the foot washing part of the ceremony requires that two or three be gathered together. The main part of the service, the taking of the elements, should be done after sunset on Monday, April 18 or if necessary during the day of the 19th before sunset. It is important to purchase or bake unleavened bread for the occasion (without yeast or other leavening agent). If possible, find songs about Jesus’ blood and thanksgiving for His sacrifice.

Below is a sample outline to guide those who keep this feast at home…

Passover Service Order

While the following are not strict rules, these general guidelines will help those keeping the Passover at home with one or more people:

  • Start service with about 20 minutes of songs. For those who have access to them, songs about the blood of Jesus are the most appropriate for this occasion.
  • Opening Prayer
  • Short Teaching about the Passover (or reading of relevant verses)
  • Explanation of Foot Washing Ceremony (those at home may choose to read John 13)
  • Foot Washing Ceremony (After you wash your partner's feet, declare, "I see you clean in God's sight and in my eyes.")
  • Explanation and reading of passages regarding the unleavened bread to be blessed as the body of Jesus (examples: Matthew 26 and I Corinthians 11)
  • Prayer of blessing over the bread to be the body of Jesus
