Return to the Father's Heart
So the Earth Will Survive
Robert B. Scott

Return to the Father’s Heart

This crucial book will pave the way for the of coming Elijah of Malachi 4:5-6, who is prophesied to bring today’s absent fathers toward their neglected or jettisoned children and bring the heart of believers back to their Father in heaven. The book offers a solution to a pervasive problem among men today: their inability to forgive abusive fathers. This modern-day Elijah will “restore all things” (Mat. 17:11), including the true gospel of the Kingdom or Family of God, revealing the dangerous error of the grace revolution leading to the appearance of the man of lawlessness, an evil leader who will fight the second coming of Jesus. Power and Protection Charlene Bishop
This last weekend I had the opportunity of being with the youth of our church talking about the up coming Fall Festival.  We learned about the power and protection that these days have brought to God's people throughout the centuries.  Time and time again in the bible we see where God's chosen people prospered when they kept all the commandments, statutes and ordinances of God.  Every time they forgot the law of God and turned to the false gods of the nations around them they fell into slavery.  No different today!  We see God's people again going into slavery.  Our youth were taught the meaning of the word grace from the Ancient Hebrew.  The word is made up of a letter meaning a "pitched tent" or "to camp" and a letter meaning "wall."  The Israelites would set up their tents in a sort of circle and these tents served as "a wall."  Another word from the Parent root is the letter for foot and the letter for wall which is "feast"  The participants of a festival would gather together and dance in a circle.  Additional meanings are  keep, feast, celebrate, dance, holy day, reel to and fro.  Grace is the empowerment these Holy Days bring to us.  Their deep and diverse meanings show the power of God, the plan of God and hope for mankind.  When we keep these days we can boldly stand with Jesus against our enemies because through the Holy Days we learn who Jesus is, what He did for us and in that deeper understanding of our identity in Him we can take the sword of the Word and speak boldly against our enemies.  For information regarding the ancient Hebrew refer to the "Ancient Hebrew" website by Jeff A. Benner.

Creflo, the Bible Says You’re Wrong! Pastor Robert Scott

Creflo, the Bible Says You’re Wrong!

Anyone who makes the effort to fulfill God’s command in the New Testament to prove all things and hold fast that which is true (1 Thes. 5:21) can find that any preacher who doesn’t speak according to God’s Word has no light of truth (Isa. 8:20). The idea that law and grace shouldn’t be mixed is a concept Crelfo says he believes. Indeed it’s an opinion that in no way agrees with God’s Word. Unless you combine true grace, empowerment to keep the law, with the law of God, the same one David loved that will be written on our hearts under the New Covenant (Heb. 8:8-10; Jer. 31;31-33), you are preaching falsehood.

Your grace is in vain. Your clever arguments are also in vain.  God is gracious and merciful, yes, but only when Jesus came to bring grace and truth did grace actually appear. In spite of what Creflo has said on Friday, September 5, Jesus’ words (yes, it’s clear He was the God of the First Testament!) in Exodus 34:6 didn’t change anything in the covenant He was presenting to this physical people. He was still making sure people understood that if they broke the law, the law would break them (notice verse 7). The fact Moses’ shining glory on his face was fading away has nothing to do whether the law is still in effect or not. Jesus said it wasn’t done away, and these teachers of a false grace even do away with Jesus’ words in favor of Paul’s, who supposedly contradicts Jesus by preaching a gospel of grace. Paul said he followed Jesus (1 Cor. 11:1). Who do you follow? Paul, Apollos, Creflo Dollar, or Jesus?

Christian Movie Review—Winning Isn't Everything, Jesus is Pastor Robert Scott

Our full movie review of this Christian film should be up soon as a feature on our site.

It's about winning with Jesus, not about the pride of winning streaks and fathers who seek their own glory through their son's accomplishments on the field.

It's really about learning to lay down to Jesus our failures on the new moon.

One thing we didn't mention in our official review is that LaDouceur touted self-worth, not self-esteem, which is a common misconception. Self-esteem is selfishness, whereas self-worth is godly, knowing we are worthy in Jesus.

Another concept that was mentioned was the "us" concept. We are a team, not a matter of individual glory but all for one and one for all. By extension, we use the "we" concept in our oneness with God, using the royal "we."

God didn't take TK home as the person in the movie stated. Satan is the thief and murderer, not God! That's a dangerous lie.

His wife mentioned the importance of knowing who we are, and how true. How few know who they are in Jesus!

Discipline and love are important themes in the movie, as well as brotherhood, and growing to manhood. Men make men. Camaraderie is important.

The concept of turning over losses came through, but they don't know the proper time to do so, at the new moon.

Give an fit shall be given to you is not a lie, but the truth, the law of reciprocity. It may not come back right away. but it will.

A boy said, "I am cursed," and perhaps he was, but he had opened the door somehow to curses.

Captain understood Matt. 23:12, but his dad didn't.

Pastor Prince, You Contradict the King! Pastor Robert Scott

DiStortion about Grace

When those who are anonymous in our new e-book, Grace Revolution?—Or Deadly Deception? go over the top in their teachings about grace, we must call them on it. Joseph Prince made such a statement today, August 19, in his daily message. Quoting the verse that said Jesus started His ministry by preaching the Kingdom of God, he added that Jesus was not yet teaching the fullness of the gospel of grace. Jesus said He spoke only what the Father said, so is he saying the Father needed some help before He finally discovered this gospel of grace. There is no better example of how the spirit of distortion can make black seem white in supposed Bible teaching than that those who “distort the gospel of Christ” (Gal. 1:7). They twist this verse since it’s the only way they can claim they have found a mention of the gospel of grace in the Bible, and they can’t find it here. Lawlessness is not the gospel; it’s the last days’ apostasy that could lead to the man of lawlessness. Listen to September 12 to hear “Distortion and Grace.” Learn the true gospel, not the distorted version we are hearing today. Seeker of truth—beware! Read more...

Are you saying that the Father and Jesus missed the mark preaching the gospel of the Kingdom that will be preached in these last days. Are you saying they sinned because they didn't preach your supposed full gospel of grace. Are you saying that Jesus sinned so our salvation is jeopardized? Please don't distort the Word of God!

Child Rearing Lessons Learned Pastor Robert Scott
Child Rearing Lessons Learned

Child Rearing Lessons Learned

Andy and Sandra Stanley shared this morning some important child rearing lessons they have learned that transcend the atypical families such as single parents, blended families, or even more unusual families such as mine. After a series of attacks on my finances, I finally was able to be comfortable enough to actually send flowers to my daughter as she turned 34 on August 1, 2014. I haven’t seen her or talked to her in 16 years. God gave me several years to discipline her until the age of 6 (my son 3), when I was attacked with a mental illness after I almost died of Legionnaire’s disease in 1986. I lacked oxygen on the brain and was mercifully spared when my former wife was told I had 3 hours to live. Jesus can redeem anything, and He is in the process of redeeming this situation, slowly but surely. He can redeem any family problem you have. Andy and Sandra admitted their mistakes, and they shared what they have learned about child rearing.

Two passages from Proverbs 22 come to mind: “Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; the rod of discipline will remove it far from him.” That’s verse 15, and verse 6 says: “Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it.” The word train here means “teach his palate” or give him a taste (for God).

Andy shared the four stages of child rearing:

1.     0-5—Discipline

2.     5-12‑ Training

3.     12-18—Coaching

4.     18+—Friendship

The idea is that you must start early with discipline, because it doesn’t work later. Some situations require miracles from Jesus when mistakes have been made. I am now healed and whole, yet there is a limit to what I can do. Jesus must do a lot to redeem an atypical situation.

Andy also shared the three major areas that aren’t negotiable with children. They must always be corrected, even though your children will only thank you much later:

1.     Disobedience

2.     Dishonesty

3.     Disrespect

Later is longer, as Andy said, and the temptation is to withhold discipline since our society is no longer a “Leave it to Beaver” or “Father Knows Best” society, but one that sees discipline, especially spanking, as child abuse. But godly parents will wisely and discreetly discipline their small children because God holds them responsible, not society and the prevailing culture.

We pray that those who can still have the opportunity to follow these guideline will do so, and those who can’t will trust our Father in heaven to father our children, even those who are grown.

Remember to always pray for your children, using the prayers we publish on our web site. Prayers make us realize that our Father is the ultimate Parent who watches over our children, and will one day bring them back to our open arms as God prophesies (Isa. 49:25; Isa. 60:9; Isa. 43:5-6).

Grace Gone Wild! Pastor Robert Scott

Grace has gone wild!

Creflo Dollar said on his program today that grace is in your heart. When you hear someone disagree with this newfound grace teaching, whom he implies must be marked so as not to cause division, you knew it already in your heart. But God says the heart is deceitful, desperately so (Jer. 17:9).

God says it quite differently. He says the law is in your heart (Heb. 8:10). He gives you the grace or empowerment to keep the law, and yes, His grace is also in you, yet His grace came by and in the Person of Jesus Christ (John 1:17).  If we were studying the law and Word of God, we would spot this deception and leave the fellowship of those who teach lawlessness. Jesus told them, “Depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness” (Mat. 7:23).

He chooses to ignore or misapply Mathew 5:19, which we quoted to him in an email. He has free will, and we pray that he will come to understand true grace and come to love God’s law in his teaching and in his heart.

Father's Day Blessing Freedom Church of God
Father's Day should be every day, and the blessing of a father cannot be overemphasized. M wife Lynda wrote this about the blessing of our Father in heaven:  "I see more and more that our Heavenly Father is the One who makes us joyous thru Jesus." He even sits  us on His right hand with Jesus. If you fast with us on Sunday, June 22, or Monday, June 23, you get another father's right hand blessing, a five-fold blessing given by Jacob or Israel for Benjamin and the end=time, Benjamin Generation, who possess the Benjamin Identity, much greater than the Bourne Identity, which Bourne had lost. Imagine what we can do if we know who we are!

The Gates of Jerusalem Charlene Bishop
This week I have been reading Nehemiah.  I made a list of all the names of the gates of Jerusalem that Nehemiah and the people were rebuilding.  I want to know the real Hebrew meanings of each of the gates and then the meanings of each of the names that will be on the gates of new Jerusalem.   The Sabbath is a door/gate to Jesus and the covenants so each of these gates must carry a purpose and meaning.  We had listened to Beth Moore's Wednesday bible study when she talked about the man at the Beautiful Gate.  This gate was beautiful because of what it was made of and because it was the gate of forgiveness.  The man's healing manifested at the gate of forgiveness.  I invite you to add any research you have regarding this topic.

Shame on You! Charlene Bishop

Recently two people I know inadvertently insulted a client.  As we were working out how to resolve this situation we learned more about each other and the root of why we react to particular situations the way we do.  One of the people, in particular, goes right to saying sorry, feels very condemned and defensive.  This person has a love for the youth that she works with and is doing a great job so why so much fear, condemnation and defensiveness?  As we got deeper into why, it was revealed that she had been told "shame on you" many times as a young person.  When a child falls down do you say "shame on you?" or do you just pick them up and brush them off encouraging them to go forward.  What about teenagers when they make a mistake?   For more information read "Freedom from Shame."

New Video Challenging Creflo and Joseph Prince Pastor Robert Scott

Pastors Prince and Dollar: Your Grace is False!

We didn’t mention any names in the above e-book. We love these men and pray for them, yet we also love those whose lives we want to save from a deadly deception. Our love requires us to inform these men of the error of their present teaching on grace. Since we went to them by email according to Matthew 18, and were ignored, their latest gross errors in teaching must be challenged directly, so we present it to the believers, whom we love and want to protect from an error that could be the great falling away and may lead to the appearance of the man of sin. This e-book could save your life.
