Return to the Father's Heart
So the Earth Will Survive
Robert B. Scott

Return to the Father’s Heart

This crucial book will pave the way for the of coming Elijah of Malachi 4:5-6, who is prophesied to bring today’s absent fathers toward their neglected or jettisoned children and bring the heart of believers back to their Father in heaven. The book offers a solution to a pervasive problem among men today: their inability to forgive abusive fathers. This modern-day Elijah will “restore all things” (Mat. 17:11), including the true gospel of the Kingdom or Family of God, revealing the dangerous error of the grace revolution leading to the appearance of the man of lawlessness, an evil leader who will fight the second coming of Jesus. How Have You Been Blessed By This Blog? Pastor Robert Scott
Our work voyage to Africa (it was all work, but a blessing) left somewhat of a vacuum in this blog. It almost expired. We ask for your forgiveness and mercy for the fact little attention was paid to it, not even acknowledging some of your good comments. Please help us revive it. And please tell us how this blog has blessed you? We have a number of dedicated believers who pray much about the questions and give answers that have made this what has become probably the most helpful and popular church blog worldwide (that's our view at least). They would appreciate the feedback for the many selfless hours they have sown into this blog. Would you take a minute to tell us what you liked about the blog, the posts, the answers, and which posts were the most helpful. Give us your input. Tell us how the blog has been a blessing. This is not the complaints section. We hear those on a regular basis. We rarely hear the positive. Our answerers do not want to be weary in well doing. They have their lives to live and are not always able to give their excellent answers whenever you ask. Give them some encouragement by praising Jesus for what has blessed you. Thank you for being there and reading what we write.

Should Believers Celebrate Halloween? Pastor Robert Scott
Many do! They justify it as inconsequential. Is it? We didn't have time this time to properly post a pdf, so we thank my wife Lynda for her zeal in typing Gerald's amazing Job transcripts. She is presently working on Job #3, and we chose to publish an excerpt on the origins of Halloween which will surprise you if you are not of those who don't want to read any post longer than ten lines...

Excerpt from Job # 3 from Pastor Gerald on Halloween

Jesus tells us to celebrate and commemorate the days of Light not the times of darkness. A time of grieving may not be celebrated year after year but the good times of a person may be. We celebrate wedding anniversaries or we know someone in our family who celebrates their anniversary. And you celebrate with them. Do you commemorate each year your dog dying?

There are bad things that happen but you do not keep that day marked on the calendar to have a special grieving memorial on that day.  God tells you not to do that. The world in this end time has started to do that. They celebrate 9/11.

Why do they celebrate October 31st and November 1st. What dead are celebrated at that time? It has been celebrated for nearly 4700 years. They are celebrating the dead who died in the flood. That is whom they are commemorating and praying to and offering worship to. These people were involved with the Nephilim. The Nephilim came again after the flood and taught the people to celebrate or to commemorate those children of the Nephilim that had died in the flood. So we know what day the flood started; or the events that led into the earth being flooded.

The people at that time were so enamored with the Nephilim that they would come and give offerings to them in order to have sex with them. It would be trick or treat. What do prostitutes do? They do tricks! And if you pay for that trick, you get a treat!

The children were taught to honor the dead by going around saying, “trick or treat.” Take into account that there is more things going on than just one event. It is also why we are told not to celebrate anything that has disaster or death commemorated.

You were allowed thirty days to grieve for a mate or family member or a friend that have died; those to whom you were close to. Then you were required by law to get up and go back to work. On very rare occasions were an additional thirty days granted; only if it was the wife of a king or Sarah, Abraham’s wife. There was a total of sixty days of grieving; but once that grieving was over; you were never allowed to grieve over her again. Why? So she could rest in peace and her soul could not be called up and used by a demon again.

There were certain things, even in Egypt, if a person grieved over the thirty days, he or she were to be taken outside their community and stoned to death or buried in an anthill.

The memorials for the dead in the first and second world wars, that is not to be celebrated. Every year they do that but every year is wrong, remembrance should not be celebrated. 9/11 should not be celebrated. You can celebrate the end of a war, but not the death of the warriors.

If you commemorate it after the thirty days of the event a curse is put upon you. Even grieving 9/11 after the thirty days, a curse is put upon you. Does anyone have an idea what that curse is? It is a curse of darkness. Nothing but darkness and failure will follow you because you have called up the dead to bring darkness and failure into your life.

The grieving of the loss of your grandparents can only bring loss into your life. Once that thirty days is up, there is no more grieving to be done. That’s it!

We are to celebrate, commemorate the good times that God has given us and do it year to year. Special events, but not evil or bad events like floods, volcanoes or tornado, or war or depression or illness is not to be celebrated. Do not put special attention on what Satan has done. Miracles, revelations, births, marriages, baptisms are to be celebrated, commemorated.

What is the Good News of the Kingdom of God? Pastor Robert Scott
Most preachers preach a message of salvation. Is this the message Jesus preached? What is the gospel of the Kingdom of God?

Why Don't North Americans Like to Dance with Jesus? Pastor Robert Scott
What are the reasons for reticence in dancing in church in North America? Just returning from a successful work voyage to French Benin in West Africa, where I gave 7 sermons during the feast and one before the feast upon arriving, what struck me the most was the Africans willingness to dance for Jesus. The comment that got the most reaction (after translation from my French into the local dialect, le fon, was this: I commented was, why would Jesus dance with a believer at His wedding feast if he or she is not willing to dance with Him to claim the world for Him at the Feast of Tabernacles. I further commented that it would seem more Africans than North Americans would be in heaven since Africans like to dance in praise to Jesus. They clapped and laughed. I arrived at my host's home after midnight on the Friday before the feast. We arrived only at 1 PM because of flooding at the outdoor hall we used in the neighboring church in Godemey. The members had been there much earlier, and had been praising and dancing since 8:30 AM. I told them it was harder to tell an African not to dance on the Last Great Day (because it is a solemn assembly) than to tell North Americans TO dance. What are you thoughts on dancing in church, and why do you think North Americans are so conservative on this subject? Why do Africans have an easy time dancing in praise to Jesus?

We can all be family – again! Pastor Robert Scott

The truth of God's Word stands outside of time. It is the same yesterday, today and forever.

The Last Great Day follows this Feast of Tabernacles on Monday, October 8, symbolically representing the final and greatest harvest of all time on the earth.

On this day there will be a resurrection of all of God's created beings after the 1000 years of Jesus' millennial rule. The Feast of Tabernacles served to show all who participated how we will walk together in harmony, and be united by our common bond, Jesus, and His Love for all.

The Last Great Day will see the burning of the heavens and the earth making clear the way for a new heaven and a new earth. The Father will then be able to reside with those who have chosen to walk in His ways of love and obedience. The Book of Life will be opened on this day to all who have ever lived on earth because our Most High Loving Father God desires fellowship with all He has called to be like Him.

At this time, we can claim this following prayer for our relatives of previous generations.

So - Now What's THIS Dream Mean? (Part 18) Pastor Robert Scott
ALL dreams mean something; we just need their interpretation! As King Nebuchandezzar said:
"Hey ... where's that Hebrew boy, because have I got a doozey for him to explain?"
We don't have Daniel; however, we do have anointed people of God gifted to translate your dreams.

So, supply them and we shall respond.

Trumpets Surprise—Why Does Jesus Need to Return? Pastor Robert Scott
So why do you think Jesus needs to return? And we have a little surprise. My wife Lynda has typed the second prophecy sermon tape on Job. Gerald was so excited preparing what we believe is a sermon for Trumpets, he didn't want to stop because the revelation excited him so. Are you having "abad" day? That's a Hebrew word that will fascinate you. Read Job # 2.

What Fears Do You Need to Lay Down? Pastor Robert Scott
I somehow lost this blog, and it's late so I'll just say it's a transcript of the first tape on Job and is strong meat but reveals important fears of loss in these last days to be laid down to Jesus on the new moon. Job #1

You Tubes on Fall Feasts—Any Comments/Questions? Pastor Robert Scott
We are still having issues with YouTube uploads, so we are having to create a new channel each time we want to upload videos. Apparently they are having server issues and with new channels they use their new and better servers. We will post here the feast videos... Jesus Hates Christmas!, Feast Without Food?, Feast of Booze? We invite comments and questions on these videos. When a subject is so dated, we have to introduce a topic that is not dated, which is why we advertised the Sabbath book and its planned sequel on the holy days.

What Are Your Plans for This Feast Season? Pastor Robert Scott
Tell us what you or your group plans to do for this fall feast season. Do you have a group? How many are in it? Where are you? Here is a brief explanation we made for our small group in South Carolina that may be helpful to you...

Feast Season 2012

Those who have kept God’s feasts, the only ones He commands in the Bible, know the joy they bring both physically and spiritually. Here is a brief resume for those who are ready to “tippy toe” into obeying God in a way they have never done. It takes courage to go against the majority, but the blessings are colossal.

The first fall feast falls in the seventh month of the Hebrew calendar, signifying the seventh millennium when King Jesus returns. Trumpets is the day of the return of the King. It is the day of the coming of the King, even His first coming. Jesus was not born in winter, but on the Feast of Trumpets, September 22 of 4 BC. We celebrate the day of the Hebrew calendar, not the date of our Roman calendar. It falls this year at Sunday sunset, September 16, until sunset Monday the 17th. The actual time of laying down past pains to Jesus starts on Saturday at sunset.

The next feast is the Day of Atonement, a fast that begins on Wednesday, September 26 and ends on sunset Thursday. It’ a twenty-four hour fast, drinking only water and light juices, abstained from all solid food. Of course, God meets us where we are, so medical situations must be considered. However, be assured you won’t die! If you have never fasted, perhaps you should begin by skipping breakfast and spending more time in prayer than usual before your noon meal. Fasting is for setting others free (Isa. 58:6). In this case we are prophesying that the world will soon be free from Satan and all his works.

The Feast of Tabernacles is a time of rejoicing that Jesus will rule over this earth for a thousand years upon His return. It’s a time of fellowship, eating better food than normal, taking daily communion if possible, singing songs of praise together in great rejoicing. The feast begins Sunday sunset, October 1.

The Last Great Day is a separate feast, beginning sunset, Sunday, October 7, and ending on the 8th at sunset. Services are normally held in the day portion of the day, and God’s ideal is to stop all normal work the first holy day, October 2, and the Last Great Day during the times between sunsets on those days.

Ask God for the grace to keep these days. Much meaning of the plan of God is packed into these days, and you can find more under Celebrations at www.freedomchurchofgod.com
